2. General information

This is a personal website and newsletter. Personal data is processed only where it is necessary to provide the website, keep it secure, or deliver a newsletter requested by the subscriber.

3. Hosting and delivery

The website is hosted on infrastructure provided by Contabo GmbH, Aschauer Straße 32a, 81549 Munich, Germany, and delivered through Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend St, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA. Technical request data such as IP address, browser information, requested URL, date and time may be processed to deliver and protect the site. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR: the legitimate interest in reliable and secure website operation.

4. Newsletter

When you subscribe, your email address, the English language selection and the signup time are stored on the server in Germany for the purpose of maintaining the newsletter list. The legal basis is your consent under Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR. You may withdraw your consent at any time by contacting the address above. The data is not passed to a newsletter delivery provider at this stage.

5. Analytics and cookies

The site does not use advertising cookies or cross-site tracking. Cloudflare may process aggregated technical measurements needed for delivery, security and basic traffic statistics. No third-party font service is contacted; the site’s fonts are self-hosted.

6. Your rights

You may have the right to request:

  • access to your personal data (Art. 15 GDPR),
  • rectification (Art. 16 GDPR),
  • erasure (Art. 17 GDPR),
  • restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR),
  • data portability (Art. 20 GDPR), and
